Number One

Miles has hit the year mark. He's growing quick and strong and creating all the havoc a little boy can. We are so grateful to have him. He's a great blessing to us and we look forward to many more years with our little Miles.

A few good steps

Miles started walking this last week. The video shows a clip of Miles' first steps (stumbles) last Saturday. The next clip shows his more advanced steps a week later. He seems to have fun peeling your fingers away from him so he can get started. Miles gets so distracted by the video camera we had to hide it to film him. You notice in the second clip he suspects he's being filmed.

Miles at Work

Miles went to work on his room this week. With a little paint and some creativity, he transformed his room into a jungle masterpiece. His Great Uncle Dean also chipped in with a mobile of various ships made of all natural/recycled materials. Miles is quite happy in his new abode.

Christmas Vacation

Wow, we had a fabulous Christmas vacation. We visited my immediate family and Scott's extended family in Utah. Miles went crazy for all the attention and refined some of his tricks while we were there. Next time you see him, say "Touchdown".
:)

We also got to go snowshoeing, snowboarding, and sledding. My dad is an outdoor enthusiast, so he was able to equip us all (Scott, me, my brother PJ, & himself) with snowshoes. I've never been before and I absolutely loved it! Plus, we found an incredible waterfall tucked up in the mountains behind Sundance.

It was awesome.

Premier Family Picture

It was absolutely freezing when we took this picture, but Miles managed to bust out a grin. We also have a fabulous picture with my (Alli's) entire family, but we somehow misplaced (erased?) the digital image. We have a hard-copy on the fridge and I can't help but smile every time I see it. This time of year puts an extra special focus on family . . . and I miss mine terribly!!

Lumberjack

Miles is showing off his lumberjack gear and grunt.
