Barnyard Animals

When we held up this rooster costume at Babies R Us, Miles flapped his arms and coo'ed (nearly cocka-doodle-dooing). So, we knew we had a winning look for Halloween. We'll hopefully click some more glamour shots of our little chicken and post them soon . . .

Feed me!

This kid gets pretty demanding when it comes to food. We shovel in the baby food each day and he just can't get enough! He let's you know when you aren't going fast enough by letting out a big growl, slapping the tray, and kicking his feet. If he had his way, he'd eat the spoon too!

Lily Pad

Miles is perched on his lily pad with his little fly trap open wide in anxious anticipation. We don't think that he has actually caught any flies yet. But, he seems determined to continue his pursuit. As you see below, he even employs the "play dead" tactic in hopes that a passing fly is looking for its next meal. We are thinking of putting him out in the front yard for a while. There are a lot more bugs out there and catching a few might increase his confidence a bit.
